Viva Verdi & La Scala 2022 – Italy
Our 3 week operatic banquet to Parma for Festival Verdi,
plus La Scala and La Fenice in October 2022.

Southern Passion 2022 – Malta & Sicily
Our fabulous 3 week adventure to Malta & Sicily in May and June 2022. Starting in Malta at the
luxurious Phoenicia Hotel, we travelled by fast-ferry to Southern Sicily. From here we travelled
anti-clockwise to Catania, Taormina, Palermo, Marsala, Agrigento, the ‘centre’ and then
finishing in seaside Ortigia in Siracusa.

Bohemian Rhapsody – Salzburg to Budapest
Our glorious 3 weeks starting in Salzburg ( where we saw Bryn Terfel in concert ) and
then to Vienna ( where we saw two performances at the Vienna State Opera ) then
onto Cesky Krumlov, Prague, Bratislava and Budapest, with opera performances
in every city from composers including Verdi, Wagner, Donizetti, Tchaikovsky and Mozart.

Viva Verdi + La Scala – 2018
Our signature tour starting in the delightful region of Emilia-Romagna where we stay in
the little gem of Reggio Emilia as well as the centre of the Festival Verdi, the charming
and musically-historic city of Parma. Our tour included so many aspects of the lives of Verdi
as well as visiting the home of Pavarotti. Moving on to La Scala and Milan and then La Fenice
and Venice we enjoyed a wealth of opera, music, local traditions, food and wine.

Southern Passion – Sicily & Southern Italy
A glorious 3.5 week tour starting in the gorgeous jewel above the Amalfi Coast, Ravello,
where we attended performances at the Ravello Festival. We then moved onto Puglia
through the magical Matera. In Puglia we met our friends from Alla Bua, the acclaimed
Pizzica troupe of musicians. Then onwards through Sicily where we saw performances
at the Teatro Massimo and the ancient Greek Theatre in Siracusa.

Some Italian Dinner Music !
Just some of the music experiences we enjoy in Australia and Italy
– often with dinner involved, even when inside the theatre. Featuring Ross
Maio ( piano accordion), our own 1970s Italian Dinner band in Tuscany
and the incomparable Sorrento Musicale in Teatro Tasso, Sorrento.

Opera in Paradise – Norfolk Island
A stunning finale to another Opera in Paradise Festival on Norfolk Island,
with our 4 piano soloists – Pamela Page, Bracchi Tilles, Max Olding and
John Woods with the rousing Entrance of the Queen of Sheba by Handel.
