Southern Passion – 2025 – Our first ‘By Request’ tour.
Join us on a fabulously contrasting tour to the fascinating islands of Sicily & Malta in May/June 2025. There will also be the option to extend to include Ravello & Sorrento on the Amalfi Coast.
‘What is By Request’ ? This is a new direction for some of our tours. This is for those who have travelled with us before, travelling with someone who has ( preferably to Europe ), or can assure us of a good level of fitness for walking. You should enjoy very good health and be independent enough to occasionally find your own activities as part of our organised itinerary. This is a more relaxed itinerary with us ( and fellow travellers ) as you tour companions. Tours will be limited to just 15 travellers.

Travel with other music-lovers and enjoy performances of opera, classical and folk music ( when available ) as well as other regional specialities like Greek Theatre and the giant Sicilian puppets…’pupi!’
Visit colourful coastal and mountain villages, elegant holiday towns, ancient sites with temples, theatres, statues and more, stunning churches and cathedrals, many filled with glittering mosaics reflecting the many layers of history.
Enjoy full buffet breakfast daily (and try to resist all the sweet treats!!), savour a variety of local specialties and wines with many dinners included and at least one spectacular ‘long lunch’ at a small farm which produces everything you will eat…tasty olives, cheeses, breads, wines, vegetables, even the famous Sicilian Cannoli..all savoured in the shadow of Etna!
With two completely different islands ( plus the option to extend to include Sorrento and Ravello on the Amalfi Coast ), this is a tour about many stories and vast contrasts…from the ancient ruins, war-time history and spectacular Valetta harbour of Malta to the charming fishing villages, isolated mountain top towns and grandness and energy of Sicily’s Palermo, you will be totally absorbed in all that surrounds you.
Each of our hand-picked 4-star ( and occasionally 5-star ) hotels boasts character and charm and each is centrally located for easy exploration on foot.
