Welcome to Music Lovers Tours, a boutique travel company based in Australia, specialising in personally hosted and designed group tours for lovers of music and ‘the good life’. Only three or four are offered each year.
Soprano Jennifer Parish and baritone Stewart Cameron delight in sharing their passions of music and travel. Their personally created and hosted Music Lovers Tours have met with great enthusiasm and a repeat client ratio to be envied.
Each tour features music performances within an overall sparkling itinerary. They appeal to those who enjoy good music, (whether Opera, Concerts or local Traditional performances) and who love to explore fascinating destinations, enjoying the finer things in life with others. Destinations in Europe and Asia are offered, with Italy a speciality. A much-awaited annual tour is ‘Viva Verdi & La Scala’, which is centred on the award-winning Festival Verdi in Parma and also includes performances at La Scala, Milan and La Fenice, Venice.
Closer to home there are travel packages to their own ‘Opera in Paradise’ events in the Pacific, the annual ‘Opera on the Harbour’ in Sydney and to other special musical events. Each Music Lovers Tour is ‘tailor-made’ and the company deals direct with all suppliers, from Opera Houses to guides, to hand-picked hotels and restaurants. This ensures a high standard, attention to detail and excellent value for money. Now so popular, clients regularly ‘Reserve a Place’ even before tours go on sale.
